Week 11 - Interesting facts and concept presentation

Last week we mainly focused on the preparations of the concept presentation which is a bit boring to write about. Therefore we have some interesting facts about Uganda at the end of this blog. But first something about the PhD defense we went to of Sheba Nyakaisiki about m-Health.

PhD defense Sheba

Sheba is from Uganda and she did her PhD at the Technical University in Delft about "A Context-Aware m-Health Application: Towards a Design Model for Developing Rural Areas". The 'M' in m-Health is for 'mobile' which can refer to mobile devices such as mobile (smart)phones or tablets. This subject is very interesting for us and it makes it even more interesting that Sheba is a Ugandan woman herself.

Concept presentation

Thursday we had a client meeting in Amsterdam to present our three concepts. The presentation went well and the client gave valuable feedback. One of the concepts is chosen and we are really excited to further develop this direction in the coming weeks. In the picture you see Mirte and G-Young ready to present.
